Parks and Trails

At the core of RidgeGate is its generosity of open space. Paths, trails and sidewalks can carry you from your home to local commercial areas; they can carry you to an urban city park, a neighborhood park, a sports field, a community park; or they can carry you to an entirely different place altogether when you reach the bluffs, overlooking the great expanses of RidgeGate, the Front Range, and downtown Denver.

Consistent with RidgeGate’s commitment of merging art and the public domain, the trail leading to the bluffs celebrates the work of local artist Andy Dufford. Dufford’s stone creations highlight the mountain vistas and the healing powers of nature. For a more communal experience, you can play with friends and family at the 5-acre Belvedere Park. The first of many parks planned for RidgeGate, Belvedere Park is equipped with a large playground, canopy shade trees, a plaza for gatherings and parties, and a wireless hotspot.

RidgeGate designed an extensive trail system for its residents’ convenience, pleasure and concern for the environment. And almost every day, each resident will use the trail system for all three of these practical and meaningful reasons.
